2022 Our Summer and Fall in Vail

It was a good and a pretty laid-back summer for us in Vail. We e-mountain biked, we hiked, we soaked in our hot tubs and we socialized The social event of the season was the Doyle's 50th anniversary celebration at the Alpine Gardens. The temperatures were in the 80's with some rain and a few wildfires. We went to the New York Philharmonic at Bravo and heard The Maestro van Sweden conduct Mozart and Dvořák. Audre loves her new XS Trek e-mountain bike with front and rear suspension, so we did more e-mountain biking this summer than hiking. Mainly, we concentrated on our home repairs at the Four Seasons Vail. Aside from replacing our fancy, schmancy Lutron lighting system, we needed to have our leaking Toto toilet repaired, our kitchen sink area needed re-piping, our kitchen floor needed repairing, and one of our stovetop burners needed replacing. Oh, the joys of home ownership that we missed during our 20-year global meandering when we were homeless.
