2007 Ski Season Cerro Catedral, S. C. de Bariloche, Argentina

In 2007 we rented a house in Arelauquen Golf Club and intended to ski the season at Cerro Catedral (latitude 41° 09’ 45.82”) , San Carlos de Bariloche. This is the first season we didn't have ski-in, ski-out accommodations. Staying at Cerro Catedral would have been awful, however. There is no town there and to live up there would have been difficult. So we were glad we stayed in S.C. de Bariloche instead.

Our ski days were limited however. First of all, Cerro Catedral is too low at 7, 837 ft./ 2,388 m at the summit. We had 6 fantastic days of skiing at the beginning of the season. It was all downhill from there (pun intended 😏) and fortunately we did not invest in a season pass. We only skied 9 days total!

We'll write more about it. If you want more information on this place before this post is written, please e-mail us. We'll try to help. E-mail address: aleanddm@gmail.com
