2018-2019 Skiing Vail for our Eleventh Entire Season and our Nineteenth Season Skiing Somewhere in the World

We are thrilled with the early season snow in Vail. Vail Resorts gave Dimitri the best birthday present by opening early this year--on his birthday. The quality of the snow was delightfully soft and fun to ski.

We were invited to Pat Montgomery's for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful dinner and evening.

We have snowshoed with Vail Club 50--even in a blizzard and it was gorgeous.

This season, although the amount of snow is deemed "normal," is so much better than the last two ski seasons. It's been perfect--we'll take "normal" anytime in Vail!

We were invited for a perfect Christmas dinner at the Doyles and enjoyed ourselves enormously.

On March 28, 2019 Dimitri and Audre skied our 77th day of the season. When Vail opened on Dimitri's 77th birthday in November, we made it a goal to ski 77 days and now we have done it! The Four Seasons Ski Concierge team sent us a gift to commemorate the day. Have a look!

On March 29, 2019, we finally skied over the 1 million vertical feet in one season! And there is more season to go; yippee.

The Four Seasons invited us to go to the big Lindsey Vonn Foundation fundraiser. Its theme was '80's Prom Big Hair. Here's a snap
