In October, 1997 we drove from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Florence to take a two week Italian course. We really enjoyed our courses (Dimitri was in the advanced class and I was in the beginner class) and the time we spent in Florence. We really liked the apartment we rented too. It was in the in Monte Alle Croce area, Via Dante Da Casteglione 7, 50125 Firenze.
After the course, we drove south to Terme di Saturnia. Along the way, we stopped for lunch at Osteria Vecchio Castello, (di Susanna Fumi) Via delle Chiesa 2 Loc. Triana (GR) Roccalbegna, tel. (0564)989-192. There we had the best truffles in our lives.
