2012 USA and Mexican Roadtrip

We're on the road again! This après season we are driving through the Southwest USA, stopping for about three weeks in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Then we are heading to El Paso, Texas and over the border to Mexico.

Our first overnight stop in Mexico will be Chilhuahua. From there we will travel to Areponapuchi (Posada Barrancas) where we'll spend 4 nights. Then on to Torreon and Zacatecas where we'll spend 2 nights.

After Zacatecas we'll drive to San Miguel de Allende where we'll spend three months. Here's a map of our route to San Miguel.

After our stay in San Miguel, we'll make our way back to Vail, driving the Pacific Coast of Mexico and then stop in Tucson (to see JoeBob, Sharon and Dimitri's friends from Egypt), Phoenix (to see Susan and Gary), Sedona and the Grand Canyon. Then we'll explore Zion and Bryce in Utah and be back in Vail in November.
