During our first 3 days in São Paulo, we stayed "on points" at the Tryp Itaim, R. Manuel Guedes 320, Itaim Bibi, fone: (55-11) 3066-2966, web: http://www.solmelia.com/ The room was too small and the place was drab and "down-market". Breakfast was an extra charge of R$15/US$9.06 and it wasn't worth it.The people at the reception desk were very good, however. Mostly what we did for our first 3 days in São Paulo is look for another place to stay. We wanted an apartment or what is called there a flat. We looked at lots and found little we liked.
