2007 Roadtrip Santiago, Chile The Ritz Carlton

We left La Serena at La Serena at 8:30 a.m. and arrived in Santiago at 1 p.m.--4.5 easy hours to do 467 km. There was a 4-lane highway all the way.

We decided to reward ourselves with a stay at the Ritz Carlton Santiago. The reward made us (almost) oblivious of the price we paid to stay there.
The Ritz Carlton, El Alcade 15, Las Condes, Santiago de Chile, fono: (56-2) 470-8500. We stayed on the Club Floor with 5 meals included (breakfast, lunch, tea, pre-dinner appetizers, after dinner sweets) we negotiated the rate of $290 per day (my records are faulty so I'm not sure that it is correct).

We loved it. We loved the gym. We loved the Jacuzzi and the steam and sauna. We loved the Club Floor (and justified the price by eating 5 meals a day on the Club Floor). Our room was comfortable (we were brought a second armchair). It was a great reward.

We loved the rooftop pool and Jacuzzi at the Ritz Carlton Santiago

It was no hardship, however, to leave after the three days and return to our favorite apartment in Santiago: Boulevard Suites. Boulevard Suites, Av. Kennedy 5749, Las Condes, Santiago, fono: (56-2)421-5000, e-mail: info@boulevardsuites.cl and web: http://www.boulevardsuites.cl/
